More Photots!!!

I love these little sweaters. They are so darn cute.....
Here are my little double troubles!!!
Mommy and her two little burritos!!!!! I call them that when they are wrapped up in their blankets and they look like burritos!

Here are my little nuggets after their baths. They love bath time and it is about the only time of day that Sophie is really happy!!!! She loves the water to be poured on her tummy.
As far as me: Things are going well. I am doing pretty good. My knee is still a little sore from falling on it. I may need to get an MRI done to see what is going on with it. OH well. I go back to work on the 4th of Feb. and because my manager messed up my schedule I have to work weekdays the first two weeks back and then I will start my new schedule of 7p-7a Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I enjoy working nights so that I have the days to do what I want after a nap of course. I am looking forward to going back...My class is going well and I will only have 2 years from this May so that is not too bad. I like the class that I am taking and I think that it will be a good semester. That is about it for me. I am still pumping...the Reglan is working wonders for my milk production so I am taking it three times a day. Still very cold here.....It usually starts to warm up about May/June!!!!!!

Babies one month appt.

I will update with more photos when I get my computer fixed-it isnt reading the card again. That is really annoying. I will get it looked at soon. I have a million photos to put on here. Anyhow the babies are doing well. We had a snow storm today! No school for the boys and I was happy not to have to get out in the AM with everyone. We went for their appointment yesterday and Sophie is eating about 100 cc's and Riley is taking about 75 cc's. Sophie weighs a whopping 7 lbs 9 oz and Riley is at 7 lbs even. Both babies were good. Sophie cried-whats new! LOL and they both got the second hep b shot today and did well. We have to go back when they are two months old. Should be interesting to see how much my chunky monkey is!!!

Sophie was really good today. Not a lot of crying fits or anything. She was a good girl! Riley ate and slept....as always! Good boy!

I am preparing to go back to work here on Feb 4th. I am ready seeing how I have been off since the end of August. I have had my time and I am ready to get back into a regular schedule. It will be even better the third week in Feb. when I start my weekend only shift! Woo Hoo!!!

Happy one month birthday babies

Well I just can't believe that it has already been one month since the babies were born! They are doing well. Sophie had a pretty good day. She didnt cry excessively or anything. Riley was good as usual. We had a relaxing day at home. I am thinking about venturing out with them pretty soon. I am so ready to get out of this house!!! It will be so nice when better weather comes our way. I know we have a while but at least we are on the up and up with that. They are still getting up about every 3-4 hours to eat. It is better if they are staggered so that I can do it alone while DH is at work. The boys are big helpers always wanting to get in to the action and feed or burp or whatever they can do. They are exellent big brothers!!!!

Welcome Sophie!

Hello Riley Boy!!!

Here I thought that I was dying......seriously.

Just started the incision and the babies were born at 5:25 and 5:26. Not bad timing! Only took a few minutes and they were out! Amazing!
Everyone is doing well. The babies are getting on a good schedule and it is easier to manage all the feedings now. Sophie still cries a lot about NOTHING! She looks really good in pink! I have waited 9 years to be able to put pink on a baby! LOL
Riley just sits in his whatever he is sitting in or someone holding him and he looks around and takes everything in. He really likes to check things out and see what is out there. He has more time when he is awake now. He is so beautiful!
I am hanging in there as well. The boys go back to school this week so that should be interesting. I start my first class on campus this Wednesday as well. I got back on track for the Family Nurse Practitioner program. I am set to graduate in May of 2010. Not bad. I am looking forward to getting it done and enjoying what I am doing in life. I want to help people and make a difference and this seems to be the best way I can think of. I start back to work the first week in February. I got on a new schedule-working Fri. Sat. and Sun. 7p-7a. I think that I will like that much better than 5, 8 hour shifts. It is kind of nice getting "into the swing of things"!!! I have a lot I want to do around the house that I haven't been able to do because of being preggo-paint, make a flower bed.....lets get to the basics-WALKING! LOL I am so happy to be able to walk once again without the pain. It is so amazing what we take for granted.

Babies are doing well

They are both doing well. We had a doctor appointment yesterday and they would have been 36 weeks and 1 day. Sophie weighed in at 6 lbs and 1 oz and Riley weighed in at 6 lbs 2 oz. ?Both babies are putting on weight like they should. That is a good sign. Sophie is much more sensitive than Riley. Riley is like a poster baby for best baby ever and Sophie is a little princess girl and if you even look at her funny she starts to cry! Sophie is on a sensitive formula and Riley is still on the Neosure. They are both breastfeeding some. They are not strong enough yet to do it full time. We are working on it though.
I love them both so much and the boys are eating them right up. They are getting kissed around the clock. I am still in awe. I feel like I go over and love on one baby and then I am like oh my! There is another baby to do the same thing with! LOL I wish that I would have had twins first so that I would know how easy I had it with one baby! :) It is just a way of life now. I love every minute of it. I am really trying not to take any part of it for granted because they are so important to me. All of my children. I just love being a mom and the babies just complete our family. I feel really good about everything now and it is good being together.
