Cute new Shirt...

I found a cute shirt online with this at the top and I thought that it was so darn cute! I of course got one because it is not every day that you have twins! I am thinking about wearing it to my upcoming shower at my work-at 1AM~ That is what I get for working midnights right? Well I am not sleeping well anyhow. It should be fun-that is on Monday night. I am looking forward to seeing all of my work mates!

3D ultrasound pics!!!!

These are the best photos we could get of Riley. He was trying so hard to show himself however his sister was constantly putting her feet on his face and head. You can see her foot "kicking" his right eye! He didnt seem to mind it at all and yawned several times as if to say that her foot in his face was getting old!!!!

Sophies photos turned out great as the tech said she had 3/4 of the available space and Riley was scrunched in a corner if you will. She had no problems showing herself!!! These photos are amazing and the technology has come so far! How wonderful to see my precious little babies. It was very touching. Especially to see them moving around like they were.

Well my appointment went well. The glucose tolerance test went good. No need to follow up with a three hour. I had the nurse double check my weight gain and she showed me the chart-21lbs. is what I have gained thus far. Not too bad.....I know it will start adding up here in the last few weeks. Blood pressure was holding steady at 128/74. Awesome! That is really good for me. My thyroid medication was adjusted. Both babies scored 8/8 on their BPP's (biophysical profiles!!) That is good news-they measure-movement, breathing, fetal movements and amount of amniotic fluid-etc. On our DVD we got to see the babies "breathing" in and out the amniotic fluid. It was really neat to see. I knew they did this when I read it in my book however I have never seen it actually happen. Doctor says he likes the way the babies are growing-a week ahead of schedule and 2 lbs. each!!! My next appointment is next Tuesday for another BPP.

C-Section Date Set!!!!!!!

Well have our date set! The hospital called and said that it will be the day after Christmas (Dec. 26th) at 7:30 AM. I have to be there at about 6 AM to get the spinal, IV and all that good stuff! Woo Hoo! I am so excited to have the date set. Gives me a goal. So unless they decide to try and come out earlier that is when they will be born!!!

25 Week Belly shot....

Well this is what I am trying to work around on a daily basis! Fun fun. I do love it. Being pregnant is such a wonderful experience and I love to feel the babies moving. My hands and my feet are really starting to swell up. My back is still really hurting. I try to rest when I can at home but it is hard when I have to run around with the boys. It is pretty amazing when you think about the fact that there are two babies in there!! I still can't believe it. I mean I am buying two of everything and I know in my mind there are two but to see it for real will be interesting. I am looking forward to holdling them and snuggling them up! I am still waiting for the call from the doctors office to let me know when the C-section will be for sure. It is good to have that planned out a little. I have been getting the babies things ready for the hospital. I have a whole suitcase dedicated to them. Lots of cute clothes. I do not want them in the white hospital deals! I just want them to be dressed cute when people come to see them. I have so many cute options for them. I am really starting to get excited to meet them! Not much longer. I have my glucose tolerance test tomorrow. Joy that is!!!!

25 Week Check Up

I had my 25 weeks check up today and things are looking way good. The babies are both measuring a week ahead still and they weigh in at about 2 lbs each. Very close anyhow. Sophie was sucking her thumb again! It was so funny. I couldnt believe it again. She had that little thumb in her pie hole! Riley would not really show his face too well...again. I am measuring 38 weeks and a little nervous about that!!! Considering I have about 11 weeks left or so!!! I have to start going in weekly for u/s (biophysical profiles) and then I will be seeing the doctor every two weeks. I have to get my glucose tolerance test done by the 21st as well as blood work for thyroid and CBC-general blood counts. I also need to do a 24 hour urine just to make sure that things are looking good. My blood pressure was good today at 124/80 so that is good. I did mention the extra swelling in my hands and feet. That is why they are checking things to make sure it isnt a start of pre-eclampsia. I did pick 12/26,27, and 28th of December as possible c-section dates for me. The secretary will call surgical boarding and preadmission testing and get it set up for a day that works out for them. They do the c-sections at 7am, 9am, 11am, and 1pm. I am excited to see what they come up with. So anyways that was my day at the OB office. I have my 3D u/s on the 22nd of this month. I am really looking forward to that. Should be really interesting. Come on babies show yourselves...should I drink a mountain dew so they move??? LOL By the way I had the bad u/s lady again and she didnt get very good pics however I did get one of Sophie sucking her thumb!!! It is so cute!

My new Dress

Well I was preparing to go to a wedding and I could find nothing to wear so my dear husband said lets go to Motherhood and I will buy you a dress. He is sooo sweet! I had the lady round up some things that might look good on me and this was the one. I like it a lot and it is very comfortable. I have three weddings to go to this fall so it works out well. I have not been feeling the greatest lately. I feel so big and I still have at least 12-14 weeks left! I just cant believe it! I really dont see how I can accommodate that much time. Every day I can do less and less and right now just under my ribs I feel like it just cant stretch anymore.....but it does. I feel very tight these days!!! This week my hands and feet are starting to stay swelled up, my shoes and wedding ring do not fit anymore. Just taking it one day at a time. I have thought about going to a local pool to relieve some of the pressure. My boys would love that as well!!!!

The double stroller

Well I went shopping and found this great double stroller!! It was about $60 cheaper than any other place I could find it.....on none other than ebay!!! It was brand new and the web site of the ebay store where I got it is www.babyage.com Great place to get baby stuff new and cheap!!!! It is the graco duo quattro stroller. It is very nice. Both car seats are able to attach on it easily and it is pretty easy to use. I wanted one that was in front and behind so that I could fit through tight spaces easy. My friend has twins with a side by side and we had a hard time getting her through doors and isles. This one also has a nice basket on the bottom for all kinds of things! Nice handles too! LOL
