Peri U/S today!!!!

This is a side view of Sophie. She is usually always in a good position to "pose" for the camera.
Riley is usually face down. We tried to get him to move but no such luck.

Yet another photo of Sophie sucking her thumb! It was so cute. I could hardly stand it!!!

Heads are nice and close together. No wonder all the pressure.....
Side view of Sophie again.

Rileys foot by Sophies head! Sibling Rivalry already?
Sophie stretching and arching her back!!!
The Appointment-
Everything went well and the perinatologist said that everything looks wonderful and she is happy with both babies. They are measuring about a week ahead of schedule still. Sophie is weighing in at 1.5 pounds and Riley is 1.4 pounds. That is looking good. Cervix is still measuring over 4 so that is good. Both babies are in the breech position right now with heads right under my diaphragm (yeah!) and feet on my bladder (double yeah!) Both babies are moving around like tornados in there and we had a hard time with measurements. I thought it was funny but I am sure the tech wasnt laughing about it as she had to get them measured!!!! In case you cant tell I had the good lady today....thank goodness. It was so exciting to see them. I scheduled my 3D ultrasound for Oct. 22nd. That will be really neat as I will be able to see their faces!!! I am looking forward to that. My next OB appointment is on Oct. 12th. They will check the cervical length and do the normal stuff like BP and weight.

The babies room! ( and stuff!!!!)

Oh my goodness I had to have these bunny slippers for them! They are sooo cute. I was dying and talking in high pitched tones when I saw these!!!!!

I could have never put these on my boys! LOL They are so feminine and super cute. I went nuts at the baby stores!!!

These outfits are just way too cute! They are so tiny! I can't wait to put them in them and see how they look!

I got those bunting things with the really soft inside to them. This way it is safer and you do not need a winter snow suit. They are also weather proof. They zip up and look really cozy...along with some gender specific blankets!!!! Can you tell what I am having??? LOL

I got these at the Childrens Place at the Mall of America when we went. I love that they are matching in the pink and the blue.

I started hanging up Sophies things....poor Riley he only has about 5 inches of closet space at the moment!!!! Anyhow Tom is going to put up another rod for me so I can hang up his things. Its a good thing!!!!
Rileys bedding is under the sea theme.
Sophies is flowers!!!
I really wanted a glider to put in their room for midnight feedings! This one is super quiet and is just the right size for the room.
This is how I have their cribs arranged at the moment. Not a lot of room! We are in the process of looking for a larger house. We have a four bedroom right now but I would like a tad bit more living space. That is a large hunt in and of itself. I have found a few prospects but nothing in the works yet. Who knows when. I dred the thought of moving and at this point in my life it would be bad! I would need a ton of help. The room is not finished yet but this is a good start-in my opinion!!!

21W 5D Belly Shot

This really isnt any monumental day for a belly shot except for the fact that this week I feel like a house! It is getting difficult to do daily tasks and I have to take many breaks to get things done. I always feel out of breath and my pants that were once oh so comfy are getting tight!!! I can't believe it. They are tight...I think that Tom left them in the dryer too long! LOL

Still having back pain....

Well I am still having the back pain. I have been doing these exercises given to me by the torture master (AKA physical therapist) and they just don't seem to be working. I am having a ton of back pain these days and it takes a long time to get things done. The babies are moving around quite a bit and I can tell who is the culprit. I love feeling it. It is one of those special feelings that only mothers feel! I know others can feel it as well but it is so cool to be able to always feel it when they wake up or change positions. I can tell their sleeping habits as well. pretty neat. I go to the perinatologist next Wed. for one last scan to make sure that things are going well for the babies and then I will be scheduling my 3D u/s for about the third week in October or so. I still can't believe there are two babies in there....I just got the second crib together and I will be posting photos as soon as I can.

The 20 week belly shot....

Well here it is. The 20 week belly shot. They are for sure growing right up into my diaphragm! I am getting a little short of breath these days. Things are going well though and that is the important part. Also, having some trouble getting comfy pants. I hate anything tight around my belly at all. And underwear are a totally different thing!!! Can you say granny panties!! LOL

Babies are Moving!

Well the babies are moving a lot these days. Not huge kicks just yet but they take their turns moving about their home right now. I love to feel them. I know that things are going OK when they are moving. It is such a good reassurrance program! I will have my boy take my 20 week photo later today and put it on the blog to update again at 20 weeks.
