13 week Belly shot

Well this isnt the greatest photo. I only had an hour of sleep today...uuggghh. Trying to get flipped to a days scedule for my 2 days off. Isaac took it so it is a little blurry but not bad. He has been wanting to take this picture since last weekend. I feel kind of huge today! Unreal. I love it but really having a hard time with socks and non-slip-on shoes!!!! LOL I have no major things going on this week but I have an u/s the week after!!!!Woooo Hooooo more views of the babies!

The Ultrasound pics...

This was so so cute!!! The baby put its little hand up and then opened it and I could see all five little fingers and then started to suck its thumb...it got me. I started crying. I couldnt believe it!!!

Twin B wanted to sleep. Not a whole lot of moving out of this little tike. Looked so comfy in there just resting.....

The tech got a great profile shot here....It is so neat to be able to see your baby this early and see what is going on in there when some times it just feels like I am getting...uunmmm...Chubby. LOL

I thought that this was neat to be able to see both of them together on the screen. The tech said that this will probably be the last time we would be able to do this because in 2 weeks they would be to big to be able to fit them both on there.

The first OB appointment.....

Well I had my first OB appointment today and it went well for the most part. Not a huge wait this time or anything! I got to see one of the docs at the clinic and it went well. They tried to do a pap-YUCK! but because I am still on the Crinone Gel they decided that it would not be a good idea to do it right now because the results can be skewed so I got out of it this time! LOL Then they did the usual-BP-122/70 (very good for me) and did weight and tried to listen for heart tones. They were impatient though. I can hear them with mine but that was OK with me because I got to get an ultrasound today and it was so amazing. They look like little babies now and baby B was sleeping and not really moving a lot. Heartrate was 165. Baby A was putting on the cutest show!!! Heartrate was 175. I was able to get a great profile shot and the baby put its little hand up like it was waving and I got to see all five little fingers spread out and then it proceeded to suck its thumb and it was so cute and so amazing! So tiny and so marvelous! I started to cry! It was just the greatest thing ever. I got tons of pics!!!!My cervix measured 4.7 cm and they don't start to worry until 2.5cm. So I am in the good here. Ultrasounds will be done every two weeks to check both cervical length and to make sure that the babies are growing evenly. Works for me!

Possible situation #1-The babies are basically on top of each other and the baby that is lower has a very low lying placenta I guess. We will need to keep a close eye on this baby to make sure I am not getting placenta previa with it and need to be put on restrictions.

My next U/S appointment is Aug. 3rd and my next OB with U/S will be Aug. 14th. I am sure that I will keep you updated.

12 WEEKS!!!!

Well today marks the 12 completed weeks day! I am thrilled. I have been waiting to reach this point. I am so happy that I am here without complication. No major news to report and that is the way I like it....Tom and I are going out to dinner in celebration.

We are planning our shopping day for a few weeks from now. I am so excited about it. It should be really fun. We are going to Babies R Us and I have to show him all of the updated baby stuff that we need and I want to get matching carseats and I found a wonderful glider rocker that I simply must have with the babies.

I can't wait to see the babies faces. I really can't. I think about them and wonder what will they look like? How will I feel when they are born and I hold them for the first time....all the day dreams!

The Update

Well I just love the doppler. That is the find of the century. It really is. I got to hear both babies this week. It was amazing. On one side of my belly it was 172-175 bpm and on the other side it was running 185-189!!! Yikes. Lots of moving in there Im sure.

I am looking forward to the upcoming months of feeling them kick really good! I know it will start to get pretty tight in there towards the end.

I still have not bought anything. I am thinking about what I am going to buy though! I am just nervous. I am so excited about the babies though. I just can't believe that soon I will be holding two babies at one time. That is so amazing....and SCARY!!!!! LOL Well only 7 days until 12 full weeks and on the 17th I will be going for my first OB appointment with the doctor. Then toward the end of the month I will start getting biweekly ultrasound cervical checks. Should be interesting. Glad they are watching me and the babies....

The 10 week belly shot.....

Well my little guy wanted to take a photo of my belly so I let him. He was all proud of himself so I used it. This was taken at the 10 week mark exactly. I am wondering how I am going to look at Christmas! LOL It is exciting though!!!!

The Doppler....

Well I am 10W1D today and I am nearing closer to the ever loving 12 week milestone. It means even more to me because of losing my baby last summer at 12 weeks. I think that I will feel a little bit of relief when I get past that point. I am hoping. I havent even started to shop or anything like that...waiting until after July 14th-(12 weeks)!!!!! I am happy that the time is going fast right now though. I do have some things in mind that I want to get for the babies. I am hoping that they are doing well in there. I got my doppler and I have been able to listen to them and it is truly music to my ears! I will never not be amazed at that glorious sound. I love it! Anyhow....things are going well. No news to report. That is a good thing. No nothing of any importance. I can only eat small amounts of food at a time so I feel like I am eating like all of the time...every few hours or so. I pack a lot of small snacks for work. It works out well. Then I never really feel super sick to my stomach and things are A-OK. I go to the OB on July 17th for my first real appointment. I am looking forward to this. I hope they do an u/s to see that both babies are doing well. Thats all I have for ya right now.
